The Forth Awards – 13th November 2025
A group of our members enjoyed a fantastic day out in Edinburgh last week, starting with a relaxed lunch before heading to The Usher Hall for The Forth Awards. It was a brilliant opportunity to come together, celebrate local achievements, and enjoy an afternoon of top-class entertainment.
We were treated to live performances from Tide Lines, Amy MacDonald, Wet Wet Wet, and Claire from Steps, all of whom helped make the event feel truly special. The atmosphere was buzzing, and it was great to share the experience with fellow dads.
It was an enjoyable and memorable day for everyone who attended — and we’re already looking forward to the next one!

25th Anniversary Event – 11th October 2025
What an amazing night was had celebrating 25 years of the Gay Dads Scotland Group. It was great to see so many members of the group both past and present. We had a fun evening catching up and sharing stories. There was a formal part of the evening too where the founder chairman, another past chairman and the daughter of one of the dads were interviewed and given the opportunity to speak about why the group was set up, the importance of it and how it has shaped the lives of those who have attended.
Here is to the next 25 years of Gay Dads Scotland!
Ten Pin Bowling – 4th September 2025
Strike! Gutter! Giggles!
The Gay Dads Scotland ten-pin bowling night was a total blast! The scores were all over the place (some more “creative” than others), but the laughs and good company were off the charts!

Last July we enjoyed one our social events at Flight Club in Edinburgh, with some surprisingly good darts skills on display!
Most of the guys in the pics here have been members of the group for over 10 years, 20 in some cases!
